Who is still playing Distant Guns? Just checking

Post here if you can or would , just checking to see who is still playing Distant Guns!
This is just info for my self so I can see where we are and to see about getting things going again on the forum.

Me, but only once or twice a month for maybe one hour. For me the scenario is boring. I only bought it because Naval Sims are rare.

I won't have time for much gaming next month, have to upgrade my certifications for work. :(

Yea, they are working on DG2 Full time and that is good!
I can hardly wait till it is out as I think it will add a whole lot to this game.

I am waiting for version 1.050 to be released, because the current version 1.049 introduced errors regarding the ship information screen, namely the deletion of command/targeting and navigation/course information.

On 27th Feb Norm replied to the thread 'new version 1.049' by saying that 1.050 would rectify these omissions and would be released shortly.

As of today a month has elapsed and no update.
I would get back into the campaign if this were fixed.

It should not be long till a update is out. I'll try to post as soon as it is up for download. That is if Norm does not post first. As he does most of the time!

We have corrected the logic error that lead to the problem you reported. It had to do with ships assigned area patrol orders escaping battle by entering a naval base. The fix will be in the next (1050) update, hopefully this weekend. Thanks for letting us know about this problem.

Yes, still playing short scenarios, but not enough time to get into another campaign these days.

Oblivion distracted me for ages and now the Shivering Isles expansion is out which I have somehow managed to install but not touch for over a week now due to amazing self control and a wife who likes constant attention :nuts: ;)

I still love Distant Guns for its uniqueness and attention to historical accuracy.

Anticipation is high for the (hopefully WWI) successor.

Yes, still playing. Happy to see 1.050. Had some problems at a critical campaignpoint with the escape into the friendly base bug. Also happy to see the return of full ship infomation screen.

The 1.050 update was released to the public several days ago. Has your installation not updated? Check the "About" box in the game to make sure.

I haven't played in about two months. Right now there are a few high quality wargames recently released which grabbed my attention. I will definitely play DG again however as it is absolutely a high quality piece of programming.

I took a break from DG, but now I'm playing it again. It's still a great game, though I hope the ridiculous torpedo range bug will be fixed ASAP. :)

I am back to Distant Guns after..well..several months. Though there are still some annoying bugs present in game (CTD), I still play this amazing game.
