Double Deuce,
I would like to know how to play PBEM via WINSPMBT
I'm planning to conduct a PBEM "battle" with one of my friends someday.
Would you please help me/show me how to conduct a PBEM "Battle"
Thanks

While you're waiting for DD to respond, get yourself the "WinZip" utility (if you don't already have it).
It is the preferred method of mailing the necessary files back and forth. WinRAR can be used, but most players prefer WinZip.
And don't be too concerned - PBEM can be confusing at first, but after 4 or 5 Turns you'll be comfortable with it.
Have fun!

Basically you decide if you want to play a generated battle or a scenario. You select that option, set all the parameters/preferences and start/continue depending on what you are planning to play. Then you just follow the prompts, purchasing unit, setting passwords, etc.
Once your turns are done make sure you send the .cmt and .dat files for the Pbem game slot. It is recommended that you zip them when sending back and forth. You also do not need to send both files except for the 1st turn BUT most people and the recommended way is to send both each turn.
There's a pretty detailed section in the user guide - Playing By EMAIL (PBEM), or Against Another Human.

Another important thing I should probably mention.
If you play a scenario you cannot deploy your forces. You have to use the scenario setup.
Generated battles you both get to deploy your men You can also edit the map and victory hexes before you actually go to the purchase/deploy parts.
