For those of you who may be interested we have started work on a WinSP Online Scenario/Campaign Listing Database.

This project was initiated by MKSheppard's use of an .xls spreadsheet to keep a record for user reference and we have since started incorporating it into a searchable online database.

We are currently discussion it over at the Shrapnel forums so you can go there for more information here is the thread: Scenario Database Discussion (http://www.shrapnelcommunity.com/threads/showflat.php?Cat=&Number=504548&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=&fpart=1).

We are also working on a DB for WinSPMBT like this as well and one that will incorporate the campaigns for each version as well. Anyone can edit this data at present so please don't play around in it too much. At some point I can add security levels (if we block visitor editing) and email notice whenever a file is edited. If we keep it open more or less then more people can plug stuff in and take off some of the workload.

At some point I hope to combine this with the WinSP Wiki (http://www.combat-campaigns.com/winspwiki/index.php?title=Main_Page).

Here is a direct link to the Database: WinSPWW2 Scenario Online Database (http://www.combat-campaigns.com/winspww2scdb/)

Feel free to post any questions and comments here as well. The more input, the better for the WinSP community as a whole.

I have started modifying this database to see how the new fields look and get some feedback. I have also added a base format for the Campaign data.

Once these are fleshed out I'll use them as the template for the WinSPMBT stuff.

Just another aside. I was planning to use this same software for tracking forces in the Combat Campaigns where each commander would have secure access to his own forces and could edit (to cross-attach, add replacements, etc). It could be set up with custom access levels for the various areas in case teams were used.
