I think I've found a bug (actually two). When using the map editor it is possible to type in a name for a specific terrain that you are working with. This works fine, except for severely restricted terrain. You can type in the name, but it doesn't show. It works fine with all the other terrain types.

Second, when you are typing in a custom name for a terrain type, you can't use anything that has a "P" in it. DA won't let you type in a name with a P as it believes you are using the hotkey for pause. I did find a way around it though. You can type the name you want in Notepad, then copy and paste it into the spot for the name. That seems to work.

Just out of curiosity,...WHY are you changing the name of the type of terrain? I would think that the names they are given are pretty self-explanatory.

I think this is a representative case of "Just because you CAN, doesn't mean you SHOULD".;)

Well, this is done in the original scenarios on the CD as well. The Euphrates isn't just "river," it shows up as "Eurphates River."

The vast majority of terrain should stay as it was originally designated though.
