Converting Scenario Saved Games?

Is there any way to convert a saved game to play on a modified scenario? I modified Korea 50-51 so that the game doesn't end in the winter of 50-51 if there's no Chinese intervention, and I made Chinese and Soviet intervention much more likely. Since all I did was modify some triggers in the Events portion of the game, the physical map and units are all exactly the same. But now I want to play my Turn 29 from my old game, which kept ending because there was no Chinese intervention. (And I couldn't get the Chinese to intervene even by bombing their units and airfields.) Is there any way to get the modified game to open the original game file? :)

No, there's no way of doing that. The new Korea scenario is treated as a completely different scenario. As a matter of fact, you don't even need the original scenario to play a saved game, so the two, as far as I know, have no relation. All scenario information is contained within the .sal.
