Hi! I'm facing a dilemma. I want to ry a Tiller game but I can't decide if I'd prefer a PzC game or TFB. Many PzC scenarios are intriguing but I'm fascinated by the attack to France too. I know TFB has a more "strategic" flavour while PzC games are more tactics oriented and detailed. Are the AI stonger in TFB? Is there some room to manouver the divisions or does it become a war of atrition? Help!

There is more room to maneuver in PzC's, but the AI is better in TFB. TFB is easier to play. I personaly like TFB better because you are using the ground forces of a whole country instead of just using the forces that fought in a protecular campaign. In TFB the scale is much bigger, thus there are fewer units. Most units in TFB are of division size. Most units in PzC's are battalion size, thus there are many more units in PzC's (much smaller scale).

On the other hand, I prefer the PzC games. I enjoy being able to re-fight a particular battle or campain. I guess it comes down to a question of what scale you like to fight at.

I prefer PzC too.

France '40 does a nice job with the attack on France and the low countries IMO.

If they would ever come out with The Second Blitzkrieg I'd like TFB even better :)

I'm glad to hear that too, as I very much like this series.
