problem placing independent ships in divison

I started a new campaign (Russians) and after the initial surprise attack, I wanted to re organize the 1st Pacific Squadron. Two Battleships were undamaged, so I wanted to form a new division of these two battleships.

I am unable to add the two battleships to the same division for some reason???:mad: The Sevestapol and Poltava are independent: Also, I tried as an experiment by taking a destroyer out of a division and then replacing it: It is not allowed: I cannot drag/place in the divison (right) panel.

I tried changing the names of the divison so they are alike: no avail: It seems that once a ship is removed from a divison there is no way to put it back: it becomes an independent command.

Is there a way to fix this? or is this a bug of some kind?

dragging and dropping ships between divisions is a little tricky. To put single ship into a division drag it from the right window into the TF organization window in the middle.

For some time I also thought that individual ships cannot be assigned to divisions.

I finally figured it out.:surprise: However: do not know if I can replicate it:crosseye: I just started trying different things and I was able to combine the two BBs together in a division.

Not an intuative interface though....
