Hiya all,

My game vs Heinz57 is at turn 8. I have opened a nice little corridor to the pocket through the center & expect to own the railine there in the next turn. I have repaired right up to where I am, about 3 hexes from being in the pocket, and currently hold the improved road into it, with about 3 hexes either side. He has pushed the 6th Army back about a hex in the East & I still hold Stalingrad qiute comfortably. In the South he has attacked quire strongly with his available forces, but I have reserves down there to stall him. He deployed entirely North, I think he cose the TOs to release the Don Front reinforcements early & to release Don forces from their positions. He is gaining quite a bit of ground in the North where he is very strong. I have been playing just to slow his advance there while I relieve the pocket.
NOW... I have an opportunity to push North from the Western side of the pocket to Kletskaya, taking the supply point there. I want to push towards the the North/South bend of the Don, eventually forming a line straight up from the Eastern edge of the pocket. If I can take the supply point at Kletskaya, and blow the bridge at Kremensk, his troops West of the Don will be cut off from supply & destroyed, pocketed by the super river.

The question that is bugging me is this... The forward supply points for the Soviets in the North; will they disappear if I can take the main supply point behind them, or do they disappear on or after a certain turn, or are they permanent?
My goal here is to disrupt his Northern assult from far behind his lines. If I can cut him off from the bulk of his supply, I win.

Anyone know? Any advice? Any thoughts??
