If I set a VH to 50 or below, is it still correct to assume that the AI ignores it?

I`m currently trying a different version of my previous scenario (rather than fix the AI units, let them react) but they seem to make moves towards the neutral 45point VH.

Is this right, am I missing something? See attached scenario.....

No intro text at the moment, as its very much a WIP, just wanting to see if someone can check the AI reaction to the VHs

According to the WinSP Manuals any Victory Hex value greater than '0' should trigger AI reaction.

It's covered in more detail on the "Scenario Editor" section of the manual. I thought I had read somewhere that 50 should be the lowest value used unless stacking VH's but I can't find a reference to that figure anywhere.

Time for me to re-read the updated version of the manual in WinPSPMBT. It has been a while and I think I have forgotten some things. :nervous:

Where can I find that? Is the manual updated with each patch download? I`ve just re-read the editor section of the manual....:o

Looks like they need to be 0 like you said to avoid an AI trigger. I must have imagined it about less than 50!!?!?!

EDIT: Ooops, just noted the op filter details in the game manual. Looks like it is updated!!!

I knew I read it somewhere about <50 points.....

From the manual...."Victory Hex Point allotments can now be reduced down to 5 points and up to 250 points in 5 point increments. Victory Hexes worth less than 50 points will be ignored by the AI, and can be used by scenario designers to develop special battlefield situations and tweak AI and Player movement"

Just I shame I read it in the "release notes" section for SPMBT 3.0 (Dos). Ooops!!!

Looks like it was changed for WinSPMBT. Thats what you get reading the manual at work and not paying attention!!!

Especially for those who do design work.

It would good to have that "for certain" how it works feeling. :D
