XIX century - 2nd War of Italian Independence 1859

I am going to start to work on a scenario using the XIX century database on the second war of Italian Independence. On a 2.5Km/Hex and regimental/brigade level.

I am starting from scratch and will work on:

- map of north italy at the times - rail and road network info to be researched

- OOB of Piedmontese, French, austrian, Florentine, Mantovan, etc. forces involved and possibly involved

- TOE (and relative weight in the XIX db) of such forces

- special rules to reflect French and Piedmontese bad commanders and Austrian very bad commanders.

- other ideas..

anyone interested in collaborating on this?

OK, almost finished Map of Lombardia and part of Piemonte... at 2.5km per hex, and based on maps of the times...

ok, I just wanted to share some work done here. so far I have almost finished my map on 2-5 km scale.
have a look.

OOB almost done (but not imputed in game) and did extensive work on Verona fortress. Anyone has data on Peschiera, Mantova and Legnago??...

on the map. i will update it and make a version for 1794-1801 type campagins, one for 1848, one for 1866, one for 1915-1918, one for 1940-45, one for the 60s-70s and then one current so that many scenarios can be made on sections of the map.

I zipped and added some new flags (the austrian one, mainly)

Can anyone help by changing the picture so to fit TOAW "green" format?

give a look at this scenario, there should be no major bugs should be a 2 hr long play time.

so far, I think it seems too much in favor of the French, but then that was the "Furia Francese"
