Here is the finished map I have been working on. It's loosely based on Harold Coyles Team Yankee and represents the German countryside. It uses Don Maddox's custom symbol set and is designed to be played "north to south". Any feedback would be much appreciated :)

Now edited to remove the irritating "possible EXC file corruption #3" warning.

Excellent map James, it’s obvious that a lot of thought, time and effort went into its creation.

POA2 has always been short of good map makers and you are a welcome addition to its tiny band.

Thank-You.

Thanks!
I'm trying to gather the determination to start on another one, I'm think more of a large town/city rather than a rural setting. Placing all those trees has left me scarred... :crosseye:

and is designed to be played "north to south".

Not sure this is anywhere in the manual, but the AI is designed to work best left-right, not up-down. Scott didn't inform me of this until well after POA2 was released. Note that it does work in any orientation, just not as effectively. I've been rotating all the maps I'm doing for the WW2 version of POA2 so that no matter what direction the action actually occurred, the battle will flow horizontally when playing.

Thanks for that, I'll keep it in mind for my future map projects.
