Feb 20th - countdown to Supreme Commander

It's gold and it will be available on February 20th. How many people are planning on getting this one?

Wow, that game looks pretty amazing, is it just for US release? because i couldnt see anything for UK

PC Gamer magazine received an early copy from the developer and has a full review in this month's issue. According to the article the game is just fantastic and advances the whole RTS genre quite a bit. They gave it a 9.1, which is a very good score coming from them.

9.1 thats a pretty good score, seeming as Company of Heroes is the only other RTS to beat that score, with an awesome 9.6. It looks similar to DoW, simply because of the 37th century aspect.

It's really the spiritual successor to Total Annihilation, one of the genre's progenators. Total Annihilation had no story to speak of or any type of complicated campaign game. But it made up for it because the basic gameplay was so much fun--seek out the enemy and annihilate him!

From what IV'e read and heard so far the game will be awesome.
But then it seems to lack a real good single pleyer mode, and so I would need to convince a couple of friends to get it as well.

Plus I might need a new PC before playing.

The game shipped today and should be on retail shelves tommorrow. Based on my experience with it so far, I believe it has raised the RTS bar in several areas.
