The situation was as follows. My Vladivostok force used up almost all 203 and 152mm ammo to sink three CAs and 5 PCs on the Japan Sea, and was returning to base to repair and replenish, having broken contact with PCs "Izumi" and "Akitsushima", the sole remaining Jap ships. In order to give them some protection against any Japanese force that might appear I have sent 8 TBs from Vladivostok.
The AI was chasing the cruisers with the aforementioned two PCs, but "Gromboi"&Co managed to slip past them during the night and were well to the north in the morning. Instead the Japs met my 8 TBs about 1 hour before the evening.
I have tried to keep distance (bad sea state meant that the TBs were slower than the Japanese), in order to attack the PCs after the darness fell, but have botched it. Two TBs collided, and to save them, I launched a premature attack. The PCs have sunk one of the attackers, damaged two more, and sunk both ships that collided.

But the real battle was fought during the night. Both TFs met again, and this time the TBs showed their true power:
First "Akitsushima"

Than "Idzumi":

Each took two torpedoes, which proved enough. I have lost three more TBs, but it was well worth it.

It's getting too easy. I have sunk the "Chin En" force, the four fast 203mm PCs, three ACs and 7 PCs from the Japan Sea force, and numerous DDs and TBs. It would be interesting to see what the AI will do now.
