Hi All,
I have been playing the Omaha scenario and my troops have been making inroads off the beach. However, I have got to a move where I cannot proceed to the next turn because the game insists that I bring on a particular reinforcement. I cannot bring it on as its allocated beach landing site is at maximum stacking capacity.

Is there a way around this? Or will I have to replay the scenario and try to get my troops of the beach quicker?

Thanks
RobP

You should just be able to hit "cancel" on the reinforcement box when it pops up when you try to advance the turn. This should allow the turn to advance then.

Hey, thanks for that! Don't know what I was originally doing, but that worked a treat. Omaha has so far been my toughest beach (like real life), I have only ever managed a minor allied defeat.

Hopefully with my new tactics (according to the manual you are allowed to assault any hex even if unoccupied, great for getting around ZOC's - that is if I read the manual correctly!

Thanks again!

It may be a new change but I don't think you are allowed to assault just 'any' empty hex. NRBH, if a unit is eliminated by fire, I believe a red triangle is placed in the hex and adjacent units may assault this 'empty' hex. If you were allowed to assault any empty hex, the old strategy of defending a bridge from a hex ajacent to instead of directly behind the bridge would no longer work.:hissyfit:
