I have set up a webpage that will show the rules as they are being developed. This will be the player reference for those involved and for those wanting to see what rules that the players need to know about.

You can find the current Players Rulebook here --> AI vs Human Combat Campaign Player's Handbook (http://www.combat-campaigns.com/ai_user_cc/)

As mentioned, these will continually be revised as we go along (and things are tested) and as I get them from my paper notes up to the web for viewing. At some point it will all be put in downloadable format.

I have added some more content to the Handbook. I am using a new html program and it's not doing what I want it to so I may have to do some major re-designing using Frontpage. The table formatting is all screwed up, especially in Firefox. :nervous:

I am opening this thread up for comments, questions and suggestions from involved/interested players.

You will notice I am trying to keep it generic so that it will work for multi-player campaigns using either WinSPWW2 or WinSPMBT. Feel free to speak up but please try keep it related to the handbook and sequence of play type stuff.

I had a question (gosh it's easy to get lost in these forums) which might have been answered elsewhere...

Let's say it's night in a sandstorm (and your blisters have broken <ouch!>) and you don't want to risk fighting. How much time can pass if you submit a "rest/hide/hunker down" order?

How much time can pass if you submit a "rest/hide/hunker down" order? You could expend a full operational turn (simulated 4 hours in this new system) hunkering down BUT that doesn't mean the enemy won't advance on you during the turn and you'll be engaged anyway.

Hmmm, a quick look at some of your charts would tell me which would be best under which set of conditions...

Looks good on that page. How is it working out so far?

Are all the terrain types in WinSPMBT/WW2 represented at various times in your maps?

Looks good on that page. How is it working out so far? So far so good. We have only done Round 1 so far. Once I get Jad's end game we will prep for Round 2.

Are all the terrain types in WinSPMBT/WW2 represented at various times in your maps? They will be depending on the location of the fighting. The Operation Compass one was a thrown together desert strategic map to get things rolling. I envision a much larger map for the next one, most likely the Nigeria idea if WinSPMBT and/or Moscow if we go with WinSPWW2.
