View Full Version : CMBB Question?
Are the planes in CMBB more effective then in CMAK?:OHNO:
OR is the armour more prone to taking serious hits from planes in CMBB?
OR am I just getting my proverbial fat arse kicked?
Mangus2000 can not respond tothe last question.;) :smoke:
Is it often that two planes attack at the same time in CMBB? Or is his plane circling around on the battle field..?:smoke:

I would have thought the plane is circling above but he could have really splashed out and bought two planes.
With regards to planes being more effective, not too sure but if it's a Sturmovik flying around then your Tanks are in trouble:OHNO:

They are the same. Buy them the same get hit by them the same...experience levels must be high or they will attack the owner the same...
You can put as many planes a scenario as you want as far as I know....

Hey 205, beware of the russian PE dive bomber that carries a small tactical nuke for a bomb, lol, you'll know it when you see the hole in the ground it leaves. These things can wipe out whole platoons with one bomb. I once saw one kill three MkIV's with its killer payload so be wary.
I have lost 2 PzIVs and 2 HTs and an HT with a 37mm gun. Saw rockets and more rockets.

If it was shootin rockets at you it was a Sturmovik most likely. Beware "The Black Death". One name the Germans called them.
Did I tell you there are T-34s all over the place....... :smoke:
Some glaring differences in the two game s of CMBB and CMAK let alone the CMBO which goes without saying. I am starting to understand why some were calling for different ladders for each game. :smoke:

I never researched the air effectivity in CMBB and CMAK. They are not realistic enough to use, IMHO.
However, in CMBB, several vehicles parameters are totally overtuned and they have been lowered in CMAK. Bogging chances, slowdown in heavy ground and vehicle turn rates belong to them (CMAK is better but still far from realistic, IMHO).
Those can have an impact on the effectivty of air attacks as vehicle can't get away and generally move slower. Obviously that makes them easier to hit and makes it more likely to hit several at once.
I also think (not checked) that the probability to abandon a vehicle from just one crew casualty is higher in CMBB. That would have a drastic effect.

Oh i totally agree with you. There are some massive differences between CMBO and CMBB / CMAK. Then again there are some subtle and not so subtle differences between CMBB & CMAK.
in some case glaring. One has to change his thinking and style of play between CMAK and CMBB ...I would not even get into CMBO issues. Lurker you are right I think if one would have to have three ladders in order to properly compare individuals on a ladder system. I have put the bug in the Staffs ear about this and may start a poll and discuss it again among all the players. :smoke:

This multiple ladder issue is like a Zombie rising from the dead:blab:
I still see no really point in it, In my eyes CMBB/CMAK are essentially the same game.
I know there are multilpe differences but the differences do not make it worthy of a split ladder. CMBO, i can see the point, but not too many people play that anymore so there would be no point.
PS: here's a quote from Lurker re: split ladders after the last poll finshed. The post is dated 14/07/06
"Oh well! I'll give it a year and poll again."

PPS: I s'pose it doesn't stop anyone else from polling though:curse:
