Gents:

Time to be thinking about the next tournament:

Please let me know what interests you. I am thinking possibly of a Bulge44 or a another defense of the Rodena. Smolensk or we could try the new one Minsk.

I don't have the latest, but that could be a motivator!

I suppose since MG was west, the tourney should head east. (Although I still really like the Italian battles too!)

It will be a while yet. We have two tournaments already going so I will wait until one is almost finished to start.

Here's a thought:

A grand tour of the Eastern Front. One scenario from each title in chronolgical order. Yeah, I know. It would take a while, but it would be a blast. :)

Barring that: Sicily.

My only suggestion is to use Volcano Man's alternative scenarios as they are more balanced from a PBEM standpoint than the stock scenarios or even the HTH stock scenarios.

Bulge has lots of fun scenarios but Sicily would allow for some nice sun tans & pith helmets & those funny shorts with the boney knees sticking out. :D Salerno would be great too.

Good Morning:

It is time to start preparing for the next tournament. But two questions need firming up and I want your inputs.

1. Several requests for A MED tournament-specifically Sicily and I am leaning torwards it. Is this acceptable to the players?

2. Type of tournament and how many rounds? Do you guys prefer mirror matches? I would like to limit the Tournment to 2 rnds-three at max as the longer the tournament goes the more chances of dropouts due to life's intervention. Do your prefer the stock scenarios provided with the games, or mods like Volcanoman's alternate scenarios?

I intend to use small/med scenarios with a max turn length of 20. I want these tournments to be your tournaments as much as possible and to hold your interest and allow quicker finishes.

Sicily would be great. Short mirrored scenarios with two rounds preferably, but could be three if the scenarios were all short ones. Stock or Volcano man is fine.
