Yeah GoW is technically a 3rd person stop and pop shooter, but it has a much more arcadey feel than other 3rd person combat games - it's like Ghost Recon meets Halo imho. The fact that it's so fluid moving in and out of cover lends to the arcadey-ness of the game, but it's challenging enough to still be highly entertaining.

That was what i was like. I didn't want Gears of War but now i love it.

You might want to consider using the User Review system to share your thoughts on the game. The more people use the User Reviews, the more useful they will be. And a review doesn't need to be super-long or complex like the ones we write for the homepage; it can be short and to-the-point.
