How many is enough. Do you feel that what has been happening is OK or should there be more or less. Feed back is good opions are great vote and state why.:smoke:

I voted 'What we have is going is good.' I'm really enjoying the two tournaments I'm involved in (CMAK TtT, CMBB StE). But I'm also in 3 other PBEM wargame clubs and so I wouldn't have the time to be involved in any more at the same time, unless something came along that was just too tempting.

I would like to be in a couple more. I'm in the first one I could be in since starting to play PBEM with SZO late last winter. I would play less standard ladder games to play more tournaments.

I'm guessing the work involved in putting quality tournaments together is the limiting factor.

Playing in tourneys is like drinking beer, you can't stop at just one!

Bertram alluded to it. The number of tourneys at any given time is FAR less important than the quality of the tourneys.

I would rather have 1 well run tournament at any given time than 6 crappy ones!

I agree 100% quality is important, wehave a hard act to follow with Kerry's ability todesign tournees not being here much anymore. But we may soon see new lights starting to come on in the near future.

By the way are you in any tournies now? :smoke:

I wasn't quite sure what to put so I went with the flow and said the current situation is fine. what I was wondering was if things could be arranged for the newer guys to have an easier time getting in on the tournaments when they join. It was a while before I could get in on tourny action and managed to get a STE spot as an alternate. BTW how about the bottom feeders tourney?

The situation now is fine. I don't think the number of active players really justifies any more tournaments, and we don't want the quality dropping. I mean, can you imagine a tournament designed and run by 2054172? Frightening, isn't it! :clown:   :stirthepot:

I didnt vote vecause i think the answer is a combination of one of the answers listed and one not. I belive any number of tourneys could be run at any time as long as they are of high quality, the designers themselves are ok at running "X" amount of tourneys and balance those with the number of able and willing participants. If that number is 2 or 3 or 7 thats fine, as long as the above standards hold true. My .02 cents.

I agree with Shreck as well. Personally, I think the TtT team could pull out a second tourney without sacrificing quality, but I'm not planning to until some of the current tourney's are completed.

and a Numberz tourney would be scary, unless he assembled an oversight committee, erm, I mean a team of dedicated playtesters and assistants........I'll go hide now.

Do we have enough members to assemble a team able to support 205??????????????????

Numberz main need is a spell checker! Unless we want to include a decryption device!:) :D  ;) :clown:

Don't worry about Bertram. I'm taking very good care of him, and his little 82nd airborne losers. After all it just took 4 squads to take out a lone sniper in the middle of a forest in the dark, and the sniper was there to be advance warning, not a serious threat!

I my game he has done a last ditch charge across a road ...my men are now using them for target practice...and It seemsthat his tactics are quite American....using 4 squads to take out a sniper...usal over kill...and when things are bleak charge in the open with little hope of success. :smoke:

you will see a posting of a tournament being orginized and that if one is interested then, you post your interest. As for the other areas of the forum i am not aware of how they do it.

Hopethis helps.:smoke:
