The trailer was pre-rendered CG and not real time according to Bungie. Still sexy.

Prety obvious the the 360 is capable of producing something like that if not better. Cant wait!

The best looking game for the 360 (GOW) pales in comparison to that trailer. Not just a little bit but I'm talking like big time. The developer of GOW has went on record stating they pushed the system to its limits (although later he retracted that).

Not saying it won't be simply the best looking game ever for the 360...but us not being developers and all...its not as obvious as you say.

There is no way that any 1st gen (or likely 2nd gen) game for the 360 can 'push it's limits'. We need more time for developers to get a grip on the system they're working with before that statement can hold anything more than propaganda...

Playing as a Brute will so not balance anything. Leave brutes out. Lets hope that the Arbiter levels aren't as boring as well :P

Is anyone else actually more excited for Halo Wars than Halo 3? Personally H2 was a huge disapointment, the story and the multi-player were both totally underwhelming to me - so i'm not getting my hopes up in advance of H3, whereas the prospect of an RTS based in the Halo universe created by one of the best RTS devs in the business is almost too good to be true for imho.

I want to see more info on Halo Wars first. I think Bungie understands the mistakes they made on H3 and I don't expect them to repeat it. However...I would be much more excited about an RTS game then a FPS game easily. So if they make it on par..then yes..I will be more excited about HW.

Yea i'm REALLY looking forward to Halo Wars. Only Reason that I'm more for Halo 3 is that it have more 'plot twists' than any other game ever and Bungie could master this. I want to know what happens to chief, cortana, and overall the whole story. Also I want to try out the man cannon :D

H2 was a disappointment story wise but Bungie said H3 will be worked on 50% of the story mode this time unlike last time where they forcused a bit more on multiplayer.
