There are a lot of us here, that routinely have helped expedite numerous file downloads in the past for those not blessed with any easy clear cut means of getting them.
Providing a download link for instance is not really doing much if you are on dial up.
Most of us think nearly nothing about burning data to a disc and mailing it to a fan in need. Really, I have seen it done, been on the recieving end myself.
And my god, some people are more than just incredible. Do you know I had a guy ship me two large boxes of models all the way from LA his cost!! It cost him 44 bucks. He just wanted to give them to an interested fan.
All I could have possibly done to earn them, was just try and be sociable on the forums :) (and that isn't really that easy for me some months hehe).
I have in the past, burned Steel Panthers data to cd and mailed to others around the world. Alas I have a pension income, so I usually ask that the mail expense be covered.
But 5 bucks can be quite handy. I was able to ship a disc to Austria in one instance, FASTER than the guys dial up could have delivered it online hehe. Yep, he told me my disc got there faster :)
So, never hesitate to think creative. A lot of my wargaming community can be incredibly helpful people (when were not being grumpy hehe).
