View Full Version : Munchkin
Now that we from sengo have moved to a larger gaming community that has much more varied interests, i simply must know, am i still the only one who knows of the greatness that is the card game known as munchkin?
I seriously love this game. It's quirky, simple and a hell of alot of fun when you get enough people to play...
For those of you who have no idea what it is, chekc it out here: Munchkin (http://www.sjgames.com/munchkin/game/)
Lol sounds fun. but they dont sell it here. We only have UNO, lol
i always wondered what the munchkin tag was all about
that looks pretty cool, chuloopa i hope your not alone
Hey! where'd that munchkin tag go?
I had to remove it... the new sig system only alows 250 chars... i had to remove my tags temporarily...
BUt yeah.. my family all disliek card games.. but my sister, mum, dad, girlfriend, step father and step brother all love it!
I have never played a card game that has been so fun!
I managed to find it and all the expansions in a specialty game store here in aus.
If you can't find it in your country, it's really worth the import.
EDIT: i too find card games VERY BORING.... but this one... it's just too good... lol
Where do you import it from?
I was forced to play it a couple of times when I was on holiday with some friends.
Somehow the game itself never really became my favourite, though some of the cards are desigend really cool.
you can order it direct from the site i linked too...
Also if you are lucky you MIGHT find it on ebay...
Ok gonna check out the site.

One of my friends actually hasr the game, and he would always try to get me to play. I never really did though, because I never really liked card gaming. Maybe I'll try it out sometime though.
it really is somehting you have to give a go one day.
because it is a card game it is a bit hard to actually convince yourself to give it a go... but once you do it's normally a good choice.
sure beats the hell out of stuff like magic the gathering </lame>

Yeah, that same friend plays magic...he tried to teach me once....*shudder*. That's why I was sorta skeptical of Munchkins.
well first thing to remmeber is that it is NOTHING like magic the gathering... there is also no confusing BS to deal with.
The game is very simple and flowing to play. it was designed for those of us who just want to play a game and not stuff around with hundreds of rules and the such. The humour is top notch as well. if you don't play it, at least take a good look at the cards. always good for a larf
I have played Munchkin in almost all the varieties. It is enjoyable, especially since I grew up playing D&D, reminds me of some of the Monty Haul campaigns back in junior high. My wife just doesn't get it as she never played any role-playing games. Another game along the same lines that I like to play even more is Ninja Burger.
In the states you can get Munchkin at the The WarStore (http://www.thewarstore.com/), Neal is the best.

lmao! What is that game based on? do you have a link?
Ninja Burger (http://www.sjgames.com/ninjaburger/)
The premise that you are ninja burger deliveryman. You have some ninja skills, and your opponents try to delay your delivery. It is a pretty fun card game that can be played in about 45 minutes.
Ninja Burger's motto is
No matter how secure your office,
how deep your bunker,
how dedicated your guards . . .
we deliver your burger in 30 minutes or less.
Or we will commit sepuka.
