HarpoonPages invites you to vote for the 2006 Pooner and Lifetime Pooner.

The big news is that this is the 10th Anniversary of the first Pooner vote (Tom Wenck won back in 1996 for his pfedit program). Thanks to yours truly, Don Gilman, Larry Bond, Chris Carlson, and Brad Leyte (Pooner 2005) the award this year includes adoration & thanks of the Harpoon community and more.

The 2006 Pooner will receive a first edition hard cover copy of Red Storm Rising, in Very Good condition (if not fine but I'm no book dealer) signed not only by Tom Clancy, but Larry Bond as well!

The 2006 Lifetime Pooner will receive a copy of Dangerous Ground signed by Larry Bond and Chris Carlson!

To vote and view the past winners, visit Dr. Who's Harpoon Pages (http://www.harpoonpages.com/poonervote/pooner-Intro.php)

If you have any difficulties voting, please send an e-mail to pooner@harpoonpages.com with your name, e-mail address, and your vote for Pooner and Lifetime Pooner and I will enter them manually.

Please post this message on any forum/list/newsgroup where Harpoon players reside so that we can bring in as many votes and cudos as possible to those who sustain Harpoon.

[pages 214-238 are gone:( ]

Isn't that a good reason to vote for me this year?:D

May the best pooner win!

Cheers,

You two are hillarious. When this is done I'll probably have at least one extra copy of RSR, with that image so far Taitennak will receive the extra, even if the slip cover is a tad ragged (and the book in English<g>). Of course if you win the Pooner I won't be sending you both copies, then Freek will have to get the spare (sadly unsigned, well, I'll sign it if you like ;)

Day 3 of voting and only 9 votes have been entered. 40+ views of this thread at this forum alone. Those numbers tell me many of you are looking but not voting, come vote and show your support of those that have helped you this year and over the years with Harpoon.

For those of you needing a little push, the voting this year is half over time-wise so come on over and honor those who are contributing to Harpoon. If you haven't voted, head to Dr. Who's Harpoon Pages (http://www.harpoonpages.com/poonervote/pooner-Intro.php).

If you have any trouble, contact me at pooner@harpoonpages.com

The dually signed copy of Red Storm Rising returned this week, now sporting both Clancy and Bond signatures!!! This gem goes out to the 2006 Pooner winner.

Last call for Pooner 2006 voting, three days left and this is your last reminder. Head over to vote at Dr. Who's Harpoon Pages (http://www.harpoonpages.com/poonervote/pooner-Intro.php), come back here to talk up your choices, then have a nice cold one to think about what a nice thing voting and recognizing a couple of fine folk was. Thanks for voting!

Congratulations to the winners. Well deserved. Hope you enjoy those very nice prizes. (And a special thanks to Tony for going above and beyond in keeping the community's Pooner awards very much alive and well. Great job !)
