I'm curious which is the most popular of the Campaign Series titles.
Which do you like and why?
EFII - for no real particular reason other than I find it the most fun. Somehow when I feel like having a campaign series game, i am most likely to load the EFII CD. It is the most easy to access. RS plays slower because of the difficult and dense terrain. WF feels very large to me most of the time because it's mostly desert.
I guess EFII, because EF was my first CS game, when it was just Germans and Russia, and I wanted all the players!! I favor Hungary over all the Axis countries, so I like to campaign them, and custom edit my campaigns for more realism, EFII rocks!!
I prefer WF, mainly because that is the theatre that I know the most about. I enjoy EFII scenario's, but really cannot get into the RS scenario's.

Either of them all. The games are equal in intensity and thrill once you get to understand how they tick...

WF! i love the beach landings, river crossings, and the grandious campaigns (normandy, market-garden, sealion). i know the EF was much larger, however, so far, i haven't seen that play out in the game.
also i can identify with the WF allied troops and that may also carry some lure for me.
EF II. It's got it all! Large forces moving over the field, massive artillery, tank and infantry formations and night combat! All in the summer or winter! I know most about the east front and to me it was the most interesting period if not the most important. It was where the German Army was the strongest, most desperate and where it met its' final demise! So true too for the Russians! They fought a delaying action, regrouped and hammered their way back to Germany proper!

Gotta be EFII! The "War" in WWII was on the Eastern Front. Two totalitarian states with the largest and best armies in the world respectively going toe to toe with "none asked and none given". The late war scenarios are awesome indeed with huge tanks and tank destroyers for both sides. "Tank Graveyard at Minsk", "Giants on the Vistula", among just a few of the great scenarios where you get to "play" with these monsters. West Front has some good stuff but I don't care for fixed units which show up in too many scenarios, and as for Rising Sun, the music alone is enough to make you eject the CD. Divided Ground? Is that a game? :D
EF must be mine as it has most variatey and the two play is usually more balanced

Although I like both, I would have to say EFII. The titanic scale of the struggle offers a huge wealth of material for scenario designers to work with. There are just so many good scenarios to choose from.
RS is not to my taste most of the time, although it does have its moments. Some of the scenarios turn into grinding battles of attrition where neither player has much in the way of options. I have only played Divided Ground a couple of times so i'm not sure about that one.

In regards to your poll, I feel that EF II is somewhat better. The Great Patriotic War reached titanic proportions that were not realized on the Western Front. Both in severity and the sheer size of battles. It is pretty amazing to be faced with an immense assault of tanks and infantry and somehow pull off a victory. EF II captures the essence of that experience very well.

For me it's WF as you get a real mix of different armies to play around with and so many weapons to choose from!
A close second is EF2 but, it's very frustrating when the Russian infantry can be so easily disrupted:( but I still don't mind playing as Russians.
Funny isn't it, the campaign series is now ' old ' yet I still return to WF and EF2 time and time again! ( don't find RS that popular for PBEM games these days ).
I prefer westfront (only the European theatre, not the dessert)
The reason is that I find infantry units better balanced between axis and allies. (although this can be questionned as well) EastfrontII still is a lot of fun too though.
