Tried to create a map in ADC 2 using Don's new symbol sets. Every time I try and save the map I get a C++ exception and the programme jams up. The file is saved but if I try and access it get the same C++ effect on opening and the same jamming. Frustrating!!!!

Any ideas?

Just tried using the standard symbol set and same result, so Don its not your symbols. Will e-mail HPS I guess.

Yes, it's a problem with ADC2. Scott sent me an updated copy of the ADC2 map editor and that fixed the problem. I guess he needs to make this available to the general public.

Don
Thanks. Got the file from Scott and am up and running again. By the by, how do you make a bridge? I can't find any on the symbol set.

Making bridges isn't part of building the map since they are "non-permanent" terrain. You can add as many bridges as you want in the scenario editor. There are many different types of bridges to choose from and you can specify the direction, etc.

On a related note. DO NOT add obstacles during the map creation process. Yes, the sysmbols are part of the terrain symbol set, but this is also supposed to be done during scenario creation, not map creation.
