It states that:

Soviet units can use the DON front Armies freely if the German player successfully enter a boundary,"*", with units of Army Group DON and make contact with 6th Army.

So correct me if I am wrong, if you enter the bridge hex with the brandenburg unit, but you do not make contact with the 6th Army then that option is not available.

Because I landed my brandenburg unit on that bridge and blew it up good :) and now to block the horde of Soviets :D

Ah... I think you might be right.. but you'd better clear that with your opponent to make sure ;).

I can understand that interpretation of the rule now when I read it through your eyes...

This is how I answered the original Question:
As English isnt my native language...and seeing what I have written I find the word penetrate a bit funny....The intent is the link up from outside to inside...AG DON entering a hex /w "*"....Not 6th A. Actual link up between 6th A and relife forces is not what I mean. The units of DON front would not be inactive if the German relife attempt reached the boundaries of the Pocket.

I am sorry that this didnt became clear enough in the briefing....
