Mark,

The Axis get almost ten new infantry corp between turns 160 and 170. However before they go almost a year without any new ones. What is the historical justification behind this schedule?

I have to be honest, I'm not sure - I think we inherited it from the original design. Did the Germans form a lot of units in summer 1942? I suppose the next big build up wasn't until summer 1943 for the Kursk Offensive?

The schedule makes it a bit rough for the Axis in the first half of '42. I guess it will be a big help later though for stopping the 42-43 Allied winter offensive.

Either Trey knew that the Germans did form a lot of units around the time they appear in the game, or he wanted to make it difficult around early 1942 to fit in with the Germans coming under pressure at that time. Remember, if you haven't, that some reinforcements aren't shown on the reinforcement schedule, but appear based on Events triggered by time: you may still get some units in that apparently bare period.

Trey is now a member of this forum. Perhaps he could answer some of these type of questions?

Does he go by a particular nom de guerre, or is it just Trey?
