Hi all!
I have a sinking feeling that Rooster's Recruit Tournaments, though started with great enthusiasm and energy, are slowly pettering out. No posts in the forum, no replies from over half the players in my group, my two games still unfinished creeping along at about 2 moves per week
I remember Rooster saying he had to prepare some exams, but that was 2 months ago?
Does anybody else share my worries?
(Rooster! Where are you?!)

Hey Fish,
If you want, I'll send you a set-up to avenge that butt-whipping you gave me in the tourney .:dead:

Why, certainly, it's always a pleasure to teach newcomers the art of war. Challenge accepted :hog:
But regarding RT2... have you heard any news? ThorsHammer says he's playing a certain HoseJockey in a tournament game. I never heard of him before, have you?
I have Secarios ready for next round... but too few replies to start for original Recruit Tourney....
Just need some more e-mails... Or can just start a new one?
The whole purpose of tourney was to get ladder games going? :bounce:
Is there still an interest?

Oh, this was just a "get-to-know-thy-neighbour" group? I thought it was more like an entry test into the higher realms of WFHQ, to sort the men from the boys, the select survivors someday being offered the chance to play one the grand-masters and be casually ground to dust through their vastly superior gaming skill coupled with dash and style...
:hail:
Rooster--I know that you have been sent the e-mail addresses of at least 2 of the 4 companies in Recruit Tournament I. Have you cross-checked the profiles of the guys that posted or for whom results were reported on both the new and old forums?
We really need to get things cranked up again. If all else fails, why not merge the two and have the top scoring players advance to the champioship tier, and the other 50% play for the consulation crown?
I played 3 full games in RT2 and am about to finish a fourth.
I would be perfectly happy to go along with whatever the rest of you decide. It does not matter to me how its set up lets just get it going!!!!
