I played a scenario a few years back but I forget the name of it. Anyways what I recall is:

Was on the Russian Front.
Either late 1941 or 1942
Russian counter attack, pretty large force
Germans in a thin defensive line. They had to delay and get back to the major river.

There is a major river, and a key city at the river. Only crossing was at the city, just south of the city, and another crossing further south.

In order for the Russians to win, they had to cross the river and get to the German main supply line, major railroad.

The Germans had I think the Toten SS Division as one of their reinforcements.
I want to say it was a volingrad regional area scenario?

If you recall the name of the scenario and possible where I can download it, I would appreciate it. I thought this was a great PBEM scenario and I would like to try it or an updated version.

thanks

It can be Hube´s Pocket but the date is 1944. There´s a mayor river ( the Bug), a key city in it (Vinnitsa), two points to cross the river and if the Russian capture Slobodzera cut the German supply line. It´s a PBEM scenario and very funny.

You can get it in: http://www.the-strategist.net/RD/scenarii/display_scenario.php?Id=87

Hi Furocity,

I did that VL scenario. you can find a straight conversion to ACOW here in the scenario discussion forum. It is buried in another topic titled "to the rescue" I think. I am planning on a major update of the scenario but as yet have not had time.
