This report is the first installment of a CMBB campaign using Rob's rules version 2.03. I'm playing the campaign on the East Front because I wanted an infantry-based core force and CMAK isn't really friendly on foot troops (desert action needs armor, not grunts).
My core force is a Russian motorized rifle company (green), fighting its first action in June of 1941. The first mission/battle/whatever was to defend against an assault by German armor. The map was 960m by 1120m, set in "village, small hills and moderate tree cover." The time was mid-day. The battle size was set at 700 points by the spreadsheet, but the Germans got a sizeable force increase and a +2 rating bonus.
