I'm ready to start playtesting my beer&pretzels Barbarossa scenario. I need at least two people willing to give it a go. Please email me at martins@ssimicro.com

Here's the scenario briefing:

Significant Events:

1. Oil and Resources: Certain cities are marked with Oil and/or Resource. When captured, these cities will give a supply bonus (for oil) and a replacement bonus (for resource). The side who loses the city will be penalized in the same manner.

2. Theatre Options: At various times, TOs are made available to both sides, giving them a brief shock bonus for launching a strategic offensive.

3. Victory: An isntant victory can be gained by the capture of either Moscow or Berlin. An economic/political victory can be gained by capturing other important cities.

Are the events setup such that the cities can be retaken, etc? (wrt the penalties?)

For the most part yes. The events for most cities are setup in a loop, so the oil/resource points can be gained/lost endlessly. You need to hold the city to gain the bonus, not just a one time raid.

Send me an email, and we can get started. So far I've got 3 yes and 1 maybe, so hopefully we can get two playtests on the go.

Martin, would you mind pairing Foggy and myself up? (if he hasn't asked).

We've already selected our pistols and are about 3 paces into it....

Don't worry. Canadian beer will be served, not that river water Americans call beer :D

A 'Wayne' emailed me about playtesting, but so far emails to him have failed. Could Wayne post here, or try a differnet email?
