Is there anybody else out there that is using the 2.16 beta version of ADC2? Scott sent me this to try, but I wasn't sure if anyone else had it yet. So far, i have found it completely unstable and can't get it to even display one of the original maps correctly. It has crashed every five minutes and has all sorts of display issues on my machine.

For ADC-2, the best thing might be to try and figure out why it is unstable. I think what I’ll do when I get a chance is send you the latest 2.15 beta, and well see how that goes. Version 2.15 has a number of things that make creating POA-2 maps easier, so I’d like to get it working for you. I’ll try to get to that this weekend.

I'll try to get some more specific information on what exactly is going on. I will send over some notes once I'm done testing it.

Don - can the bitmaps be larger than 4MB with 2.15 - because I'm buggered if I can make a map that's usable with 2.14 and topo scans.

I know a map can be made from multiple topo scans in ADC2, but I have never tried it. I believe one of the reasons for keeping the maps smaller is that performance will suffer if a single large mapsheet is used. As I understand it, the limitation is with Windows XP more than ADC2.
In answer to your question, I don't know if it can be done or not because I haven't been able to get version 2.15 to run right.
