Is there of list of changes of what has been changed/fixed/enhanced thus far? It might come in handy so that we can continue to test the beta patch, and also so we know which bugs have been fixed and which have not.
Bear in mind, these are my "working notes," not an official list of changes.
* Unit movement checklistbox focus unit hi-lited
* Added close combat to reporting
* Broke out accuracy separately from kill probs on DF/targeting screens.
* Added “bring location information window to top” Display menu option.
* Location info form - Ctrl-H or “Main Menu | Display” to show, also added std minimize and close buttons at top.
* Progress bar now smaller, comes up at top, and is movable - and position “sticks”.
* Map display matches Force tree for multi-part units.
* Added “Standard Wargame FOW Setting”: All friendly units are always known correctly and completely. If an enemy unit is sighted by ANY friendly, the entire friendly force knows it immediately at level 5 (no SITREP’s). Otherwise, no friendly unit knows it is there - and there are no historical reports, e.g., “as of x seconds ago”.
* Map view (zoom, position) returns to last used before save for each player.
* Added ability to change unit HQ assignments in set-up phase.
* Added ability to change level in setup phase.
* Added “(Reinf)” to force tree entries.
* Added Reinforcement Info to Unit Info Form
* Added check so that TFHQ MUST be placed.
* Fire lines from center of hex not UL corner.
* Existing VP locs “stick” when existing scenarios are reset to the “start” turn.
* Adjusted text displays on Wpn Detail Info form for “long lines”.
* Autosave code now makes a backup "lautosave.ops" of the existing autosave file before creating a new one (hoping this will help us snag more bugs)
* Streamlined “set victory location(s)” process for scenarios.
* Updated Obstacle and IP placement boxes in initial setup.
* Streamlined create detachment process.
* Added option to reset known and sighted vals when saving scenario to “start turn”.
* Added scenario name to the main form caption.
* Improved the AI move path determinations.
* Staff officer colors fixed for strength level & staff text adjusted for destroyed units.
* Split “best” AI path option into two sub-options for “Tactical” or “Speed”. Tactical takes into account cover and concealment, and may proceed off-road to avoid potential mines and observation. However, the tactical path time will not be more than 25% that of the fastest path.
* Added notices when movement destination loc is prohibited or when AI can’t determine a path to it.
* Added British and other weapons systems to the database - plus made some corrections.
* Adjusted unit info form so emplacement status can be modified during the set-up phase (so they can be given support missions).
* Added paradrop info to reporting form.
* Added option to show weapons system info in addition to unit name on map mouse-over text box (Preferences | Map Colors).
This is the best place for this I could think of saying: Since you have decided to strongly support the Game here I would respectfully urge either Don or HPS to add the Questions from Don - Answers from Scott- Scott`s Posts to the saved FAQ., Else you`ll be doing the whole exercise over and over either in the Fourms or through HPS EMail support..... ;)
..and Yes, I just ordered the Game direct from HPS so I can keep running my big mouth for a little more :D

I'm sure Scott will update the POA2 FAQ at some point. On this end, it's probably a little difficult for me to update the FAQ because that could get messy. Also, I can't make every thread with important info "sticky" or there would soon be too many. When Scott updates the official FAQ I will, of course, post it here.

You can change your avatar to anything you like in your options menu. Warfare HQ has a large supply of images suitable for the task right here: http://www.warfarehq.com/tek/im_ov/ladder_images.php
Was there something to be improved in this area as well? I find it very confusing that when you have the "Compress Multi Part Unit" option turned on you only get info about the unit that happened to be on top. An infantry squad comprising a Bradly and 3 or 4 differently armed infantry teams is displayed on the map as the top unit only. Its really hard to work what is actually in the hex and you can't pick which unit it displays.
