Release date?

I understand that the beta testors have completed most of their work and Shrapnel Games is now accepting pre-orders for Armored Task Force.

Has anyone heard of a solid release date yet? I guess I need to pre-order.

I just received the Frag newsletter and it indicated that ATF would be released on 10/15. Hope it's true - I pre-ordered a couple of weeks ago.

FRAG is the email news letter for Shrapnel Games announcing new games, games in development and release dates (sometimes you also get discount codes). I think it comes out once a month. You can sign up for it at www.shrapnelgames.com - on the right hand margin as you scroll down.

Just checked the Shrapnel Games home page and looks like ATF has just Gone Gold.

Release date is 4 NOV 02.

Sorry if we got your hopes up. But I can't guarantee that there is no more work to be done. Unless there is a printing problem, this date is rock solid.
