I thougth that I read that you could change the setup locations of units before you start a scenario. I have been unable to figure that out, if it is even possible. Are the premade scenarios set as far as set up or can you change the setup locations? I did notice that you can alter the victory conditions and the opord by saving the scenario under "save game as scenarios".

May second question deals with the "minimum unit size to show" settings under preference/display. Is that working? I can tell no different on the map or the force tree by changing these setting.

This option has to be set by the scenario author when the scenario is first created. It wasn't done with the scenarios on the CD. I believe HPS is going to release modified versions of the scenarios with the patch.

To reposition units before play, you have to use the "Save as Scenario" option and check the "Startup" or whatever checkbox. Save it. Then reload it. At that point you can position units just like at scenario creation. This can be done with any scenario.
