1. When I look at the weapon system F-14D (attack)...I notice for bombs it only has 2 culster bombs attached....while it has the options for several different kinds of "guided bombs"...I seen none given to it (by that I mean a number like 1 or 2 or 4 pre loaded)....How does this work, do we just have the option of which to choose from? Or it seems to make more sense that we would choose which weapon to use out of a "default' that is already selected for this weapon system.

If this is the case, then the F-14D attack only can use cluster bombs and this must be an error.

2. How many personnel can be loaded on to the APC's?

3. How many personnel can be loaded on to the different Helicopters...Blackhawk, Huey, Chinook, etc.

Thanks.

Good questions and I have been wondering about that myself. Have you forwarded this list to Scott?

2. How many personnel can be loaded on to the APC's?

-- As per the unit information screen the load cost of 1 plt. is "1" at a weight of 100kg's each (seems low but I suppose it is to keep things well-rounded). The max load capacity for the APC m2A2 is 10 persons. Or 400kgs of "cargo" as for the helos, view thier capabilites in the unit info screen "MOBILITY" and it should tell you.
This is not gospel, but only what I have been able to gleen from playing and poking around the units as I use them. With some of the bugs though regarding Un/Loading, I can't say if these numbers really "Stack Up" Pun intended... haha.

Answers from Scott....

Specific weapon load-outs are set at the start of the game - from the Unit Data Form. It can be done when selecting units initially (from the TO&E), or during the set up phase. All you do is go to the Status tab, and set the quantities of the ammunition you’d like the system to carry. For example, if you want the F-14 to have cluster bombs instead of Sidewinders, click on “1 x Common Air to Air”, then set all quantities to zero (this gets rid of the default Sidewinders). Then, click on 1 x “Common cluster bomb” and set the quantity of whichever model(s) you want it to have.

As for carrying capacity - there are two ways to find out what it is. The first is to use the DataView module to view the Weapons Systems data table - and click on the “Mobility” tab. Or, you can bring up the Unit Data form again, and click “Show Weapons System Info” from the General tab. Then click the “Mobility” tab, and the carrying capacities, total maximum cargo weight and load/unload times will listed.

Hope that helps!
