Which maps come with POA-2

Waiting for my POA-2 to arrive still. (thought it would have been here today....tomorrow for sure I'm guessing...can't wait).

Can I ask, which maps actually come with the game?

I've heard...

Iraq
Alburqurque? Whaaa ??
Blue Fields
Fort Irwin
Hotot En Auge (France)
Kirkland AFB 1
Kirkland AFB 2
Plei Rongol (Vietnam)
Puschendorf (Germany)
Sangt'am-ni (Korea)

Is this accurate? If so, are the maps done well?

Also, while I'm posing, any more info on when the first patch is expected? Are we talking before Feb?

Yes, this is correct. As you can tell many of the scenarios are hypothetical, not historical. When zoomed out they are standard topographic maps. At closer zoom, POA2 uses its own terrain files, which are pretty good in my opinion.

I have a copy of the beta patch. I will begin testing it soon and will have some feedback for you. I expect it to be released "soon."

Beta 2.01 fixes most of the big things that have been reported, although there have been a few things we couldn’t duplicate. It also adds some of the things folks wanted, although the “major” additions will come in the next patch or two.

This version has been put though testing, but not really enough to release officially (I was changing code an hour ago - although the mods should have been fairly “safe”). If nothing major pops up I’ll release it “officially” early next week. I’ll probably also post a couple of additional scenarios too.
