Ok me and my brother wanted to play head to head on CMBB, and its not letting me connect to him ...says error. am I doing something wrong? I go straight to scenario and pick a map, then I click on that TCP/IP thing..says you ip is 24. etc and says waiting for oppent, I give him the IP over team speak, he loads up the game and goes to type the IP in multiplayer and it gives him the same error? Would it be because me and him are using the same copy? thanks

Having the same copy installed on two systems is not the problem in fact it is "allowed." It encourages playing CM. (I guess BF hopes that the other player will buy his own copy eventually so he can create his own battles/play scenarios.)

One PC, the one that has the actual CMBB CD in it controls the game while the other- the one without the CD is just allowed to join multiplay only.

Note that if you "start up" CMBB without the CD in you'll get the same screen pop up asking for multiplayer that the "other" PC will always get.

BTW- what is the error message?

Thanks for the help Palantir , it says Error: Cannot connect to specifed IP address. I don't know why it would say that sense we went over and over the ip over teamspeak to get it right and still nothing

make sure that when you try to connect to him he does not have the game minimized, this can cause the error message you quoted.
