Problems with tutorial slides

Somehow, my tutorial slides have disappeared and I can't seem to get them back. There is an option under Help called Tutorial Slides, but when I click on it all I get is an error that says, "The POA2 tutorial slide slow is already active."

I already tried minimizing the main window to see if it was underneath, but there is nothing there. Any ideas?

Hi Don,

This was a weird one, but we eventually figured out whether or not it occurs is based on how you start up POA2. If you use (double click) the icon, it doesn’t show up. If you use the Start Menu, it does. The reason, as we found out, has to do with the path Windows passes to the program when it initially executes - which is different based on the start up method. However, once we knew what was going on we were able to build a work-around into the code (in the first/current patch).


Scott also mentioned that HPS may be a bit slow to reply to questions and/or e-mails over the next few days. They are putting all their effort into fixing the things that need to be fixed for the first patch.
