anyone here play guildwars?
i have the game but i havent played it much
is it worth getting because its getting mixed reviews.:(
they say that its not a true rpg as it only focuses on pvp.:(
i was actually going to get this too. the character creation is cool though.:)
I haven't played Guild Wars recently cause the guy I usually team with needs a new pc :/
It's not a bad thing that it focuses on PvP, there are lots of things you can do outside of the pvp and the game encourages you to explore the world and complete the game to get more skills to use in PvP.
It's not called Guild Wars for nothing. Guilds are the focus of the game, and it's not about gaining levels it's about skill. With everyone in PvP at lvl 20 it means your team has to be skilled and has to work together, practice and plan strategy beforehand. It's a very involving game, but for completly different reasons to most MMORPGs.

thats good. i wanted to try the matrix online, but i dont wanna pay a monthly fee for a game. so maybe i will pick this game up

Take my advice And DONT get matrix online
its really not that good and its a pain getting hold of them to cancell it

i have guildwars and i play a monk necromancer (don't ask) it's pretty awesome it's not as detailed as killer games like world of warcraft but its still good. It's a quality mmorpg and it doesn't have a MONTHLY FEE THAT'S SO AWESOME!!!
If i didn't say it before...get it because it's awesome

yeah it runs a bit slow on my laptop sometimes becuase of the 64mb graphics :( but it runs fine on the desktop depends which machine im on at the time.
im firebreaf dragon (don't ask me why i called the charitor that becuase i don't know)

yeah i decided to put to put a gig of memory in my beast and an x800 but i don't think it'll fit in my case unless i cut a peice out of it...so i guess i'm going to have to get another case...damnit
don't worry my name isn't too creative or intelligent either but it works!

errm very near the start i think :eek:
ive until recently been playing WOW mostly but i've decieded to take a break from that for a while as i was found myself losing interest and decided i wasnt using it enough to warrent continuing to pay for it.
Ive had Guildwars for quite a while just haven't actally played it that much.

yeah i played WoW for a while and it's a really really great game but i just didn't have the time for it with classes etc. going on
I use to play, im goona get back into it, just havent gotten around to re-installing it since i reformatted my pc. I was a lvl 15 Warrior/Monk
