Is there a way to playtest different battle plans in a scenario? I can run them in the scenario builder, but need to test the plans in a game.
...or at least to know which battle plan has loaded. I solve this kludgily by including a bogus enemy unit of different type in a visible location for each plan; when I spot the enemy, I know which plan is running by the type. Then I can repeatedly reload until I get the "right" plan. Of course, you have to remember to delete those guys from all the plans before releasing.
What would be preferable is a way to force the game to run a specific battle plan via some "secret" method; perhaps in a config file for the scenario.

That is a good idea (so is the hidden enemy idea, for that matter).

It is something that can be missed designing programs. I didn't think about it until today. Then again, we're not Kbluck. (I think he has X-ray vision. :D )
