But for sizes like this, I probably need broadband to transfer the files efficiently.... I should have them installed on Thursday if everything goes right ---- will you still be there then?

Interestingly the 4 games I have under development are all 5,000+ points.

I didn't know large games were a problem to pbem.

Once I get a handle on Operations I'll be designing some large ones to use in some "mini-tourneys" (i.e. Invitationals).

But with my time limits that may be a bit in the future.

sure eraser..but it is pbem,,shouldn't be a problem to send files. When you are ready, let me know your preferences for the game (points, etc).

Even as PBEM, the stupid AOL is unbearable :D ... recently I tried one 5000pts game, it takes 11 minutes one way to send or download the file! And this number grows exponentially as the size grows.

Anyway, by Thursday I believe I should be enjoying my broadband :) ... so let us start on that day. As for the points and setting, I have no preference except that I do not play night missions (for its utterly boring) and snow missions (for it hurts my eyes).

Please feel free to set it up then and at the same time let me know your rules(like purchase rules, etc.) , I will follow. :)
