Listed are two event sequences for providing Nuclear Weapons to a force on an intermittent basis.
The key requirement is setting the value of the Nuclear OK event to zero. The process requires that any other event that can enter a value of zero be used first. Supply Radius works well. Then change the event to Nuclear OK, and the value will remain zero.
This Nuclear OK zero event has to be listed first in the event sequence. For those instances where the Nuclear OK (1+) event fails or is unavailable, this insures no weapons become available.
When the Nuclear OK (1+) event is available, it replaces the Nuclear OK zero event.
While event intensive, it is better than having just one Nuclear OK (1+) event, with the same number of weapons available every turn.
The event sequence can sometimes provide a second opportunity for a force to gain a Nuclear Weapon in a single turn. This can be identified in the Recent News if the Weapon is identified as available immediately above the date printed on the following turn.
It might or might not be educational for some to eliminate event 24 and run the scenario again.
Nuclear weapons do not accumulate when not used on the turn of availability.
