I am gutting all the "crap" I have lying around, just tooo much stuff I insist on keeping, and often I can't really produce an intelligent reason for doing so.
The current example, a Call to Power 2 game cd.
Hey, I liked playing it back when it was new, but, back then, it was also cutting edge.
Now, it's just not worth expending a paper sleeve to store it really.
Ok, the game didn't suddenly become lousy in comparison to what it was when it was new. It's just no longer up to the level of design as Civ IV.
I installed the game, ran it for a few minutes, and the interface came back to me easy enough. But, it's just no longer enough.
Why settle for a horse and buggy if I can have a new sports car :)
So it's in the round file. After all, who am I kidding, if I have time to play either it or Civ IV, which am I going to play. Obviously Civ IV.
