Playing Market Garden'44 against the AI I have found that Allied vehicles take losses while moving even when when not in enemy contact. The parameter data line is show below:
Allied Air Interdiction: 2% Axis Air Interdiction: 0%
How can I stop these losses?

Do you actually observe the moving unit stop and an interdiction attack result appear? If not, then it's not air interdiction, but the usual losses suffered by moving vehicles - simulates break downs, etc....

The unit doesn't stop it simply suffers a loss. Doesn't matter if you move hex by hex or drag to a destination. I hadn't thought about breakdown. I guess that is also controlled by a reliability parameter and I'll check that out.

Your answer was correct. Thanks for the lead.
When I run the numbers (24 vehicles, moving on a Primary road (4mp per hex moved) and a Quality "C" unit with a parm value of 10) the percentage seems low, but it seems to take a lot of losses. I'll fiddle with the parameter and see if that helps.
