In TSATC database the Shilka has a radar attribute but none in AATFs. I'm just curious as to why. Also the SVD sniper rifle has in game characteristics of a 500m range and magnification of 2, the information that i have seen on this weapon is that its ER is 800m and the sight if mounted is of times 4 magnification, so i'm also curious as to how, or why you have arrived at 500m and times 2 magnification.

The easy answer to most of your database questions is that the base of the database was taken from an earlier game (TFW, I believe), which was before the radar feature was brought to the game. Many of the weapon systems from that database are NOT in the AATF game (no ZSUs and no SVD sniper teams) as it will ship, which is why these things weren't "caught" in beta.

As always, the AATF database can be altered and saved to suit your own needs, desires, and sources of info. I will say, however, that there are some weapon and vehicle attributes that were specifically manipulated to work within the confines of the game engine to provide better and more accurate gameplay overall.

As you find this stuff, send it our way. We will police it up and add it to the first patch. But this should have no impact on gameplay in any of the release scenarios.

Another question for you, i want to create a Stryker ESV with miclic. I'm using KBs ESV as a base vehicle, should i add the entire length of the trailer to the ESV length or just the length of the cargo area of the trailer to the ESV length.

Add the entire length of the trailer to the length of the ESV.
