As NATO and Warsaw Pact Forces begin to engage each other all along the length of the front the smoke from burning vehicles can be seen rising into the air from Parst in the west to Aspertsham in the east.
New footage has recently been obtained of some of the fighting and will be released to the media as it clears the censors . . more news and photos to follow. :D

Although the air seems filled with Soviet aircraft their losses appear to be very light. As far as can be determined NATO aircraft have yet to intercept or engage them. Canadian ground forces were able to shoot down at least 1 fixed wing attack craft. Here is the suspected crash site of a Soviet Mig-23 reportedly shot down by those air defense forces near Stritzling.

Several Canadian Leopards and APCs burn southwest of Pleinting. Although how they met their end is unknown, several witnesses reported seeing Soviet Hind-D's operating nearby just before they erupted into flames.

Before anyone involved gets concerned, these were taken fairly early in the fighting so it does not risk exposing other units in the area. Several turns have passed and I also did some creative photoshopping to eliminate other information. ;)
