View Full Version : Advanced options for the force editor?
How do I get from the force editor to the advanced options.
I am a real dummy so a graphic representation would be appreciated.
I can this far.
If you're refering to things like force / formation / unit proficiency, readiness, supply or communication, electronic support etc. levels for instance, you'll find them in the Edit menu, under Modifiy current force / formation / unit.
I'm not sure however I understood your question correctly.

Instead of pulling down menus and editing one unit at a time, it would be nice if this data was available in a spreadsheet format. Rows would be the units and columns the values. In a scenario with a few hundred units, imagine how easy it would be to edit the Unit Supply values . . .
Would be really nice if the unit TO&Es were also in spreadsheet format.
Would be really, really nice if the evolving equipment editor was in spreadsheet format!
Wonder if there is a physical limitation in the programming that precludes the use of the spreadsheet format.

This is exactly what I mean.
When I click the Edit button my drop down window has a lot less options.
The options are:
Undo
Enviroment
Calendar
Events
Forces
Replacements
Deployments
Briefing
First force
Map Boundaries
Clear Map
Auto contouring
Unfortunately I cannot show a picture as the dropdown window disappears when I try to use Screentaker and the printscreen functionality does not seem to work on my laptop.

And you have the force editor open - just like it is in my picture?

Thanks, but any chance of keeping this quiet went down the drain when I decided to go public with my ignorance.:upset:
By the way which scenario are you editing in your example? I do not recognize it.:hmmm:

No, the part of the map you can see is indeed south of and at the Gothic line, but the map is a part of the original map from the Sicily to Brenner pass scenario, not from the Gothic Line 44 scenario. But it's a different scenario i made by and (yet) for my own.
I have two maps from that area, one from GoranW (:hail:) and one from another web source, the latter one a scanned original US Army map. The map is currently being redrawn at 2,5 km/hex, which is IMO better suited for battalion sized units. So, don't be worried about plagiatism. :devious:
Why did you chose this Nulpe as a new avatar? The older one was much cooler. In diesem Sinne, :toast:

Really don't know what a Nulpe is... but i imagine...:D
But i'm nulpe's fan for many years and this is my small tribute :hail:
The regular avatar will return... (can't help it...)

So not to hurt your feelings for Mr.Schuhmacher i won't translate Nulpe.:D it's not a harsh insult anyway.
