Transporting flak 88's across the battlefield

Is there any means of loading the flak 88's and other immobile large guns back onto transport vehicles after they've been deployed?

Page 129 of the manual says no, at least not the big caliber guns.
Set 'em in the best location and hope for good shots.

Never tried them.. Do they need trucks or other vehicles too for initial transportation? And when they are deployed they get at the spot where the trucks rear part was exactly or not? :)

Flak 88’s can be transported using the properly rated carrying unit. They must start the game mounted on the transport during the setup and then can be moved to the desired location. Once the gun is unloaded it cannot be moved from that position nor can it be reloaded onto the carrier. I usually back the transport up to the drop off point and then unload it. It takes a lot of practice to place the gun in the proper position and I personally have a hard time placing it exactly where I want it every time.
