Any Mod recommendations?

Wondering if anyone can recommend any mods for CIV4?

Looking at www.civfanatics.com there are lots available, its just a case of choosing which one.

Quite like the look of "fall from heaven 2". Anyone tried it? Which ones work with the warlords expansion?

Fall from Heaven 2 is very good. A little imbalanced and they pilfer art like crazy, but it has some really amazing stuff in it.

There aren't many other total conversions like that, but I can recommend the Ancient Mediterranean mod and the WW1 mod (both on CivFanatics) if you are looking for neat setups/scenarios.

Me too. But EA owns the rights to Alpha Centauri, so that won't happen.

I wonder if Beta Orion would make it past the lawyers?

Well I tried the Ambra mod with the revolution add on. Talk about nasty. But sadly, it was also unstable, and crashed so often my buddy and me just turfed it.

Have had some real laughs with the Canadians mod :) Hearing funny Canadianisms during the game is killer funny. But I think only a Canauck would really want to have a Boyscout unit and the PPCLI in modern times. And the quotes like the Bob and Doug tune would be lost on a non Canadian.

Actually, I`m looking forward to the new "Railroad tycoon" game (or should I say "Railroads!")

I spent hours on that when it first came out. No, not particularly interested in trains, just loved the strategy....
